Position Overview

As a Summer Camp Facilitator, you’ll lead groups of enthusiastic campers in activities designed to spark curiosity and joy. Each camp week is different, filled with hands-on experiences that make learning unforgettable. Facilitators are responsible for managing group dynamics, leading planned activities, and fostering a positive camp environment that supports every camper.

Ideal Candidates

Ideal candidates include current or aspiring teachers, educators, and camp counselors. College students studying education, child development, or youth programming. Or anyone with a passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead groups of 5-20 campers in a variety of engaging activities, projects, and challenges. Bring energy, creativity, and positivity to every session. Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all participants. Prioritize camper safety, enjoyment, and learning in all activities. Assist with camp setup, transitions, and cleanup as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum availability of 3 weeks (additional availability is a plus)
• Enthusiasm for working with children in a creative, hands-on environment. 
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. 
• Reliability and punctuality. 
• Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Background checks will be required

Important Details

Camps are held in Addison, TX. Facilitators are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp locations.

Camps begin June 2nd, 2025 and will last through August 1st, 2025. You will be scheduled to work at least 3 weeks during the summer. The weeks do not have to be consecutive.
